Introducing Protector AI
Protector AI is an AI-powered video analytics system for businesses, industrial facilities, and public institutions in Kazakhstan. The service is installed on top of existing cameras, runs 24/7, and detects an incident on video in about 20 seconds.

How we came up with our service
We started thinking about what businesses are actually paying for when they install dozens of cameras. A regular surveillance system just records footage, like a VCR, and sound isn't always captured either. It doesn't understand what's happening and doesn't make any decisions on its own.
It's physically impossible to sit a person in front of dozens of screens and expect full concentration 24 hours a day, without breaks or days off. Because of this, important events are usually noticed only after the fact, once something has already happened. We thought about it and decided to solve exactly this problem with AI video analytics.
That's how Protector AI came about. It's an AI-powered video surveillance system that doesn't just record video but analyzes what's happening in real time. It detects dangerous situations on its own — whether it's someone entering a restricted zone, missing safety equipment at a production site, or a conflict on school grounds — and immediately notifies the people responsible. Our goal is simple: to turn video surveillance from a passive witness into an active safety tool.
Who's behind the service

Protector AI is built by a Kazakhstani team of engineers, IT specialists, and AI experts. We're both the developers of the technology and practitioners who are in constant contact with our clients: schools, industrial enterprises, government institutions.
This way of working matters to us. It lets us quickly test new ideas on real sites, not just in the lab, and see right away how the system behaves in different conditions: poor lighting, old cameras, large crowds of people. Today, Protector AI isn't just a set of cameras with detection — it's several modules: unwanted-person control, event analysis such as aggression, fights and bullying, restricted-zone control, PPE control, and detection of alarming situations (weapons, smoke, fire).
We are members of the Astana Hub international technopark.

Winners of Digital Qazaqstan 2026. Our information security solution has passed testing and meets the requirements of the ST RK ISO/IEC 15408-2-2017 standard, confirmed by a test report. Among those already working with us or partnering with us: Kazakhtelecom, Transtelecom, several regional akimats, the Ministry of Labor, and DEM Group.
How we prepared for Digital Qazaqstan 2026
We prepared for the Digital Qazaqstan 2026 forum in Shymkent the same way we prepare for any meeting with a potential partner: by gathering real cases, not polished slides.
The market is already overloaded with the phrase "artificial intelligence," and from our own experience we know that customers are tired of presentations alone. What they need is proof.
So we focused on demonstrating the product in action. We showed how Protector AI, running on our clients' real cameras, catches violations that an ordinary security guard would miss — from a missing hard hat at a production site to a stranger on school grounds. This approach worked at the forum too.

We attracted the attention of the government, major companies, and investors. That gave us the chance to move faster into talks with decision-makers and to turn conversations into real video analytics implementation projects.
What and who inspires us in our work
What inspires us most are the real stories of our clients. For example, a case where the system spotted the start of a conflict at the moment someone raised a hand, and security was able to step in before the fight really began. Or a situation where, thanks to a notification, an institution's management learned in time about improper behavior by their own staff and put things in order.
We're driven by a simple idea: when it comes to safety and saving lives, seconds are valuable currency.

Every time we see response times drop from several minutes to a few seconds, and the system saves our clients up to 95% of the time spent searching the archive, we understand why we do this work. And that's exactly what inspires us to keep moving forward: developing new video analytics modules, training our models on new data, and gradually expanding into markets in other countries.
